Take a canoe and drift up and down the river in front of the Lodge or for the more adventurous, a 2 hour canoe trip to the beach, you can arrange to be collected or work up an appetite and row back to the Lodge.
Earth & Fire Restaurant
Guests at Blackwaters River Lodge and day visitors can experience our intimate on-site Earth & Fire Restaurant. What was originally the tractor shed is now a cosy indoor dining area and outside deck overlooking the golf course.
Our chefs will treat you to handmade breads baked in our wood-fired oven and other tasty home cooked meals.
As far as possible we grow our own vegetables in our green house on the property and fresh has never had a more true meaning. We support our local farmers and producers with many food items we serve freshly on you plate. Open for breakfasts from 9am, bookings essential. In-house guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast from 8am in the restaurant.
